``Blues in the Night''
OPENS FRIDAY
Virginia Stage Company takes its annual musical bow with Sheldon Epps' revue ``Blues in the Night.'' It features four singers, a five-piece band and many classic blues and pop songs from the 1920s to the '40s. Included are such world-weary sufferers as Alberta Hunter's ``Rough and Ready Man,'' Ida Cox's ``Wild Women Don't Have the Blues'' and Ann Ronnell's ``Willow Weep for Me.''
Details: Preview at 8 tonight at the Wells Theatre, Norfolk. Opens at 8 p.m. Friday; weekend shows at 4 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday. Continues Tuesdays-Sundays through March 10. Tickets: $25-$45 ($20 tonight). ...
