TOKYO, Feb 21 Asia Pulse - The ruling parties plan to introduce a bill in the Diet next month to help telecommunications companies regulate unwanted e-mail advertising, called spam mail, sent to cellular phone subscribers, officials said.

During a meeting of a project team on information communications this morning, the ruling coalition of the Liberal Democratic Party, New Komeito and the New Conservative Party put together a draft bill to regulate spam mail targeted at cell phone users.
