NRC 'SALP' REPORT NOTES PROGRESS BY BG&E AT CALVERT CLIFFS
BALTIMORE, April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) noted improvement in the operation of Baltimore Gas & Electric's (NYSE: BGE) Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant in the Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP) Report released today.
In the report -- which covers a period from Dec. 1, 1988, to Dec. 31, 1989 -- the NRC noted, by late in the period, "a substantial change in the focus and attitude of licensee management, which initiated an aggressive effort to improve performance."
