The following events will be held in conjunction with the exhibition of medieval art at the Elvehjem Museum of Art.
Thursday, March 14, at 4 p.m. in the Elvehjem's Room L-140. "Medieval Metalwork as Personal Adornment and Spiritual Ornament," a slide-lecture by Thomas Dale.
Thursday, March 21, at 4 p.m. in the Elvehjem's Brittingham Galleries I and II. "Medieval Art From the Metropolitan Museum of Art," a gallery lecture by Maria Saffiotti Dale.
Thursday, April 11, at 4 p.m. in the Elvehjem's Room L-140. "Beautiful and Monstrous Bodies: Sacred and Profane Love in Romanesque and Gothic Sculpture," a slide-lecture by Thomas Dale.
