Yes, she won the gold medal at the 1998 Nagano Olympics, thus setting up Michelle Kwan's triumph or tragedy in Salt Lake City. But Lipinski's triumphant jumping up and down in the kiss-and-cry area was four years ago, when she was only 15, even before she could drive a car.

Now, at the ripe old age of 19, Lipinski is ready to set skating aside, at least in the summer months, and step onto the stage. Her acting career is what drives her these days.
