Lake County Circuit Judge Mary Seminara Schostok on Thursday won round three in the battle over her place on the March 19 primary ballot.
However, the final bell on the contest may not have rung, because her opponent in the Republican race for the seat Schostok now holds says he will ask the state Supreme Court to consider the matter.
At issue is biographical information printed on the back of Schostok's 163 nominating petitions in which she refers to herself four times as "judge," something challenger Robert Morton claims violates election laws.
