WASHINGTON, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- On May 15, 1930, Ellen Church climbed on board a Boeing 80 Trimotor to begin a 20-hour flight between San Francisco and Chicago. This first "skygirl" unknowingly started a career that would span 60 years, and in her footsteps followed 90,000 flight attendants who currently fly our nation's skies.
