GENERAL DYNAMICS ATLAS ROCKET LAUNCHES SPACECRAFT
VANDENBERG AFB, Calif., April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- a General Dynamics Atlas Rocket successfully launched a combined Air Force/Navy spacecraft today from Space Launch Complex 3 at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.
The launch marks 19 consecutive successes for Atlas from VAFB, the longest-running string of successful launches in the world today. The Atlas is produced by the General Dynamics Space Systems division in San Diego, and launched by a team of U.S. Air Force and Space Systems personnel.
