The woman whose trial was held up more than a week because of an AWOL juror was convicted Tuesday for her role in the September slaying of a man in a hotel parking lot.

After Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Ruehlman sent juror Christine Fiorini to jail Monday for going on a Mexican vacation when she was supposed to be deliberating the case, the remaining 11 jurors took two days to render a verdict.
