NEW MEXICO COMMISSION ORDERS $2.9 MILLION

RATE DECREASE, NO PHASE-IN

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The New Mexico Public Service Commission (NMPSC) today issued its final order in the rate case which determines what the company may earn on its New Mexico jurisdictional electric assets. With its order, the NMPSC basically approved a Hearing Examiner's recommendation which had been issued on March 8, 1990.
