In a ceremonial tree planting at the Sepulveda Garden Center, Mayor Jim Hahn, City Councilmembers and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) today unveiled Trees for a Green LA, an environmental and energy conservation program that will provide 200,000 shade trees to Los Angeles residents over a two-year period.
