NEW YORK -- Joining the growing roster of accessories houses branching into footwear, New York-based luxe handbag brand Judith Leiber will bow a full shoe collection of both day and evening styles at WSA.
Given Judith Leiber's success in the black-tie handbag business -- to the tune of an estimated $30 million in accumulated sales -- expanding into shoes is a logical move for the company, according to execs, despite the recession's potential impact on new luxury ventures.
