Homeowners, real estate brokers and mortgage bankers can relax. It's going to be a prosperous 2000 for the residential real estate market.
Mr. Real Estate says it's so.
The record suggests we respect his prediction. History, at least that recorded in the decade just left, confirms that Mr. Real Estate, a k a Fred Sands, is rarely wrong.
Statewide, he predicts that prices will increase 8 percent from 1999 levels and sales will soften, sliding 2 percent on an annual basis.
