Most of the region's high school football teams will spend tonight and Friday working out the kinks. League play is at least two weeks away and these nonleague matchups, while important, don't make or break the season.
The Marmonte League is like no other in the area. The seven-team league begins its six-game schedule tonight with Thousand Oaks hosting Westlake, Newbury Park traveling to Moorpark and Agoura playing at Royal.
