It says a lot about Cal's offense that its best weapon is punter Nick Harris. It doesn't say nearly enough about Harris.
The senior may just be the most dominant player - yes, player - in the Pac-10.
Harris, the All-Pac-10 punter a year ago, averages 40.4 yards per kick, but he's put 23 of his 36 punts inside the opponents' 20-yard-line.
In a 17-15 loss at Illinois last month, Harris put nine of 12 punts inside the 10-yard line, including punts to the 1, 2, 2, 3 and 4.
One punt landed at the 2-yard line and stopped at the 1.
