Program at Reliable on target
INDIANAPOLIS--Reliable Drug Stores, one of the newest members of the chain drug industry, is on target with its debt reduction plans, as well as its merchandising and consumer education efforts. "We are on schedule," says executive vice president and chief operating officer Chuck Conaway. "We have a one-to-one, debt-to-equity ratio, which is where we want to be. It puts us in a position to be one of the better capitalized drug chains in the country." Reliable has one of the most solid balance sheets in the industry for a chain its size, and management is quite pleased with where the company stands.
