SAN FRANCISCO, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- California philanthropists Richard and Rhoda Goldman today announced the first winners of their new Goldman Environmental Prize. At a press conference in San Francisco this morning, the Goldmans named six environmental heroes from six different continents who will receive a one-time award of $60,000 from the Goldman Environmental Foundation.
