SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Demonstrating its leadership role in the development and delivery of simple and scalable Ethernet networking, Extreme Networks, Inc. , today announced that it has once again been elected to a key position in the 10 Gigabit Ethernet Alliance (10GEA). Extreme Networks' Ameet Dhillon has been appointed as a board member of the organization joining six other board representatives. 10GEA members share a common goal to promote the acceptance of Ethernet and the adoption of universally accepted product standards within the IEEE committee.
