SUNA, like many other nursing organizations, is often faced with issues that challenge our members, the Board of Directors, and our management company. As I reflect on some of these issues over the past several years, I'm reminded of how often self-empowerment and situational anger go hand-in-hand.
A beneficial by-product of anger is that it can stimulate you to act -- to empower you to assert yourself. Situational anger, unlike chronic anger, can be energizing and constructive.
