Arlington National Cemetery, already the burial place of around 275,000 people including Presidents William Howard Taft and John F. Kennedy, several Supreme Court justices, the crew of the Space Shuttle Challenger, polar explorer Adm. Richard Evelyn Byrd as well as veterans of every war the United States has fought, is rapidly running out of space for future interments.
According to an Associated Press article that appeared in The Virginian-Pilot on Feb. 18 headed: ``Arlington National Cemetery will be expanding by 60 acres,'' it has become expedient to enlarge the present burial space in order ``to make room to receive another ...
