Two years ago, Harry Welch wanted to come back as head football coach at Canyon High in the worst way. His desires were clear cut: He was seeking redemption, but he also felt a sense of duty.
It was to be pure Welch, the fallen coach who stepped down in 1993 amid controversy triumphantly returns to rewrite his own ending and restore Canyon as a regional football power.
