You'd think that returning to the role that changed his life would have some emotional impact on Anthony Hopkins. But the knighted actor is dryer than a good chianti about reprising his Oscar-winning psychopath Dr. Lecter for ``Hannibal.''
``I've been around long enough to just not invest much in any of that stuff,'' says Hopkins, who nonetheless enjoyed making the ``Silence of the Lambs'' sequel in Florence, Italy. ``It was a lot fun; good to do, really. A very nice thing to do.''
Don't oversell it, Tony. But Hopkins clearly did see merit in the project that his former director and co-star did not.
