ALL the ``Bush's tax plan is bad because it would mainly benefit the rich'' repetition of late shows that what drives partisan politics today is redistribution of income through the government.
Ignoring the fact that those with higher incomes now pay a disproportionate portion of the income tax burden, and will continue to do so if Bush's tax cut is enacted, that Democratic line of attack is clearly focused on maintaining or expanding every redistributive program they have ever managed to fund out of the pockets of others through Washington.
