SAN DIEGO -- ImageWare Systems, Inc. has signed a five-year contract with Sheriff Jerry Keller of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to provide a comprehensive package of advanced law enforcement and ID card technology. ImageWare's Web-based systems will automate police processes for better crime-fighting in Las Vegas and Clark County; automate background checks for 250,000 casino employees; and step up security for the production of 500,000 active city and county work cards.
