Article: Alaska Airlines Registers Gain in Revenue Passenger Miles in February.

Mar. 6--Alaska Airlines continued to better last year's traffic figures in February, the Seattle airline reported Tuesday.

Alaska said its February traffic increased 3 percent, to 925.8 million revenue passenger miles. A revenue passenger mile is one paying passenger flying one mile.

But the airline's percentage of seats filled stayed the same compared with February 2001, the airline said, at 65.5 percent, because the airline's capacity grew by some 3 percent in the past year.
