PAINE WEBBER GROUP ANNOUNCES THE COMPLETION OF
NIKKEI STOCK AVERAGE WARRANT OFFERINGS
NEW YORK, April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Paine Webber Group Inc. (the "company") has completed the public offering of 7,000,000 Nikkei Stock Average put warrants at a price of $3.20 per warrant and 5,000,000 Nikkei Stock Average call warrants at a price of $4.75 per warrant. The warrants will be traded on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol PXB.WS for the put warrants and PXA.WS for the call warrants. These were the first Nikkei Stock Average put and call warrants offered concurrently to the public.
