Mar. 6--WASHINGTON--With Bill Gates waiting in the wings, Microsoft and the Justice Department will be back in court today to begin what could be more than a month of hearings on their antitrust settlement.
Since it was announced in November, the proposed settlement has faced withering criticism from Microsoft's critics, who argue it would do little to rein in the company's dominance of the software industry.
