Forget about making lasagna the traditional way - by cooking the noodles in advance and making a sauce that takes hours of simmering. It's not only a lot of trouble, but takes a lot of time.
Borrow inspiration from the lasagna theme but streamline and update the process by using uncooked lasagna noodles or the new oven-ready, no-boil dried lasagna sheets along with various flavors of jarred pasta, spaghetti or marinara sauces.
