TONY Blair invited the heroes of New York to No 10 yesterday and told them they were an "inspiration to us all".

It was another memorable day in a momentous week for police chief Bill Morange and firemen Mike Kehoe and Jim Kelly.

Yesterday they received their Mirror Awards from twin towers' survivors Brits Christopher O'Driscoll, 43, and Janice Brooks, 42.

Mike said: "I can't say enough to thank the Mirror for all they have done for us."
