HAS IT EVER occurred to you that you could design your own fruit tree? Maybe not, but you could if you knew how to graft.
Like some skills not widely practiced, grafting has acquired a mystique. The uninitiated regard it as some kind of horticultural alchemy best left to Druids and nursery people. Actually, grafting skills come easily with demonstrations and a bit of practice.
