The British author JK Rowling, who created Harry Potter, has denied Sveriges Radio (the Swedish radio, SR) permission to read the Potter books aloud.

Under the Swedish copyright law, it is fully legal to refuse the right to read books aloud in radio broadcasts although it is very uncommon that it's done.
