As a mediator, Forrest ``Woody'' Mosten is called upon to referee some of the most unusual cases.
For example, one town house owner wanted to build a 15-foot-tall gate around his home, in violation of the rules set forth by the homeowners association. The ornate gate required an architect's design and reminded Mosten of India's Taj Mahal.
But after Mosten sat down with the homeowner, the association representative, the architect and two neighbors, they settled in 12 hours when the homeowner agreed to build a smaller gate that the association could live with.
