An inexpensive way to try out a new Indian restaurant in the neighborhood is simply make a quick luncheon visit and partake of the all-you-can-eat buffet.
Nearly all the local Indian cafes present them.
At the new Star of Bengal in Granada Hills, the lunch buffet runs a mere $5.95.
It's an easy test. If the kitchen does a good job with this low-profit offer, imagine how much better things could be with a full menu at dinnertime.
