The beleaguered public relations director of the Palmdale school district said Wednesday she has been fired by the school board, which deliberated in closed session for more than two hours Tuesday night.
Diana Beard-Williams said Wednesday afternoon she had not yet received formal notification of the board action, but had been told she was dismissed.
``My inside sources say it was a 3-2 vote to terminate me,'' said Beard-Williams, who had been accused of harassing co-workers and mishandling Palmdale Education Foundation financial records.
