The memories of that November morning are burned into Nolan LeMar's mind, much like the marks on his chest, neck and hand.
Now there are nothing but positive thoughts on his mind, the result of his comeback on the baseball field.
LeMar, one of three Hart students who suffered burns from a botched physics experiment, has recovered nicely and helped the Indians to their third straight Foothill League championship. He's batting .475 in 19 games as Hart (23-4) prepares for its Southern Section Division II second-round game today at home against Santa Barbara.
