In her dozen years as a film actress, Bridget Fonda's pale, slender beauty has lent itself to roles as a Single White Female, a bong-smoking beach bunny and a waitress. Now, she's trying something a little different - playing a reluctant crocodile chaser in the quirky/scary creature flick ``Lake Placid.''
Dressed in a body-hugging black sweater set and slim skirt (from which, she discovered, she hadn't yet removed the price tag), Fonda, at 35, seems to look more like a Fonda every day.
