Baseball's version of Groundhog Day, the recurring event that transpires with the carbon-copy sameness of a remembered dream, played out in Turner Field again on Tuesday night.
Those were the Atlanta Braves once more, using great pitching and just enough hitting to secure a postseason win. The opponents in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series this time around were the New York Mets, but that merely added a lot of noise to the background.
The Mets are long on gamesmanship and plucky bravado. But as most of the others before them in these situations, they came a little short on runs.
