Michael Smith once had three homes but joined other homeless people for turkey, pumpkin pie and all the holiday trimmings Thursday provided by two Iranian-American families whose generosity has become a tradition.
About 80 homeless people turned up for the third annual dinner put on by the families of Iranian immigrants Jalel Banki and Kim Karimi - who came to America some 40 years ago - to show their appreciation to this country.
``They've done this for two or three years now, and I wish more people would do that,'' said Smith, known on the street as Pastor Mike for his work with the homeless.
