KANSAS CITY _ If the Kansas Jayhawks needed an indication that Sunday's Big 12 tournament championship game against Oklahoma was going to be different from Saturday's semfinal steamrolling of Texas Tech, it came on their first offensive possession.
Forward Nick Collison attempted to post up on the low block but was rudely shoved out of the paint by Oklahoma forward Jabahri Brown.
The Jayhawks were forced to settle for point guard Aaron Miles' hurried jump shot. It missed, and Brown snatched the rebound.
As things turned out, the possession proved to be a precursor of things to come as the defensive-minded Sooners held Kansas to a season-low ...
