ELECTRONIC HOUSE ARREST REACHES THE 1,000 MARK
RALEIGH, N.C., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- For the first time, more than 1,000 offenders are under the supervision of the Division of Adult Probation and Parole's (DAPP) Electronic House Arrest program.
In the 14 counties which have House Arrest programs, 1,010 offenders were under supervision during the week ending April 20.
The first two counties to establish House Arrest programs have the largest number of offenders in the program. There are 120 Forsyth County and 106 Wake County offenders currently under House Arrest. The first House Arrest program was established in Forsyth County in July ...
