YONKERS, N.Y. -- Advanced Viral Research Corp. (BULLETIN BOARD: ADVR) today announced that it has submitted the results of a Phase 1 study for the topical use of Product R in the treatment of genital warts caused by infection with the human papilloma virus (HPV) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Overall results of the Phase 1 clinical trial indicate that Product R was safe and well tolerated dermatologically in all the doses applied in the study.
