GOV. CASEY SAYS STATE ACTIVELY IMPLEMENTING ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS
HARRISBURG, Pa., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Gov. Robert P. Casey said today that Pennsylvania has established new environmental laws and programs that provide the kind of protection Pennsylvanians are entitled to under the state constitution.
"This is an ideal time to be talking about the ongoing importance of the `environmental amendment' to our state's constitution -- adopted about a year after the first Earth Day," Casey said at an Earth Day Symposium on Pennsylvania's environmental laws and regulations.
