A town's subsequent decision to foreclose some of the optional methods available to meet a business's parking requirements did not preclude the business from using one of those methods, the Wyoming Supreme Court has ruled (Snake River Brewing Co., Inc. v. Town of Jackson, No. 00-298, Jan. 29, 2002, 2002 WY 11).
In 1993, the town granted Snake River brewing Co. a building permit for a restaurant and microbrewery. Snake River invested almost $1.8 million in developing the property and another $1 million in an expansion approved in 1996.
