A TOURIST yesterday relived the moment an elephant deliberately killed a zookeeper.
Jerry Finley told an inquest that other elephants went to the aid of Jim Robson at London Zoo as the four-ton animal stamped on the keeper's head.
He described how the female Burmese elephant called Mya used its forehead to push Mr Robson to the ground and wrapped her trunk around his legs - then deliberately stamped on him as he screamed for help.
'I believe it was an attempt to kill the man,' said Mr Finley, an American who was visiting the zoo with his wife and two children.
