Mar. 13--The name Montana Power Co. faded into history Tuesday as a new sign that bears the power company's new name, NorthWestern Energy, was unveiled at the company's headquarters on Broadway in Uptown Butte.
Michael Hanson, who as NorthWestern Energy president and chief executive officer will oversee energy operations in Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska, did the honors on the snowy morning by climbing into a boom and unfastening a tarp placed over the sign.
