STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. -- As the result of a recent decision by Federal Trade Commission regulators, Big Net Holdings, Inc. (Big Net) is now offering high-speed broadband Internet access to customers nationwide using AOL/Time Warner's high-speed cable lines. The approval of Big Net brings to three the number of companies offering national high-speed Internet access over the AOL/Time Warner cable network thus fulfilling conditions placed on the AOL/Time Warner merger by the FTC. The other two companies approved by the FTC include EarthLink and Inter.net.
