The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) reported yesterday that the GSIS netted about P30 billion in income in 2001. Investments income reached P11.937 billion as of November, 2001 or an increase of 30 percent over the same period in 2000.

At the same time, Winston Garcia, GSIS President and General Manager, assured GSIS members that the noontime demonstration conducted by some GSIS employes was a personnel-related activity and did not reflect on the efficiency and productivity of GSIS.
