Mar. 15--Customers of Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental System will spend more time rubbing elbows if parent company ANC Rental Corp. gets a favorable ruling in Delaware bankruptcy court.
The Fort Lauderdale company is hoping to get approval from a bankruptcy judge today to combine the operations of the two rental-car businesses at six airports. A favorable ruling may pave the way for it to consolidate the brands at 65 other airports around the country, including Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
