Susanna had just finished her annual eye exam, and her suspicions were confirmed. For weeks, she'd blamed her blurry vision on not enough sleep, but she'd known it was more.
Dr. Murphy turned to Susanna's mother and said, "Susanna's exam shows that her myopia, or nearsightedness, has gotten worse. It's not a big problem, but we need to take care of it before it becomes one."
Dr. Murphy led Susanna and her mom into another room full of frames, charts, and brochures about contact lenses.
"I never realized there were so many choices!" said Mrs. Pearson. "Where do we start?"
