Have you ever wondered what [H.sub.2]O and [CO.sub.2] really are? Do you only think of chemicals as being bad for the environment? Chemical professionals from across Canada addressed these young people's questions and more during National Chemistry Week! Semaine nationale de la chimie (NCW), which was held October 12-20, 2001.
The Launch
NCW was launched in Halifax, NS with some very cool chemistry, just prior to the opening of the 51st Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference.
